Family Social Science offers two tracks:
Plan A (with thesis)
Plan B (capstone project)
If you want to pursue a doctoral degree but have not yet earned a master’s degree, the family social science master’s degree, plan A (requiring a master’s capstone thesis), is your pathway to a doctoral degree.
Upon completion of the master's program (Plan A), you will be evaluated to enter the PhD specialization in Family Science.
A PhD will prepare you to lead with a broad foundation in theory, research, and practice. Choose from two specializations:
Family Science
Couple and Family Therapy (CFT)
