Family Social Science Graduate Handbook

Welcome to Family Social Science!

The graduate handbook serves as a guide for your degree plan and includes links to websites with current policies and procedures.

During your time in the FSoS graduate program, we strongly encourage you to work closely with your adviser, committee members, the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS), the program director of Couple and Family Therapy (CFT), the program director of Parent and Family Education (PFE), the Graduate Program Coordinator, and your fellow students.

The University-assigned student email account will be the primary channel of communication used by the department to share information on policies and program matters to all students.

Graduate Handbook Table of Contents

This graduate handbook is designed to be a guide for students in the Family Social Science graduate programs: master's, MA/PhD, and PhD programs. Parent and Family Education program students will find information and guidance specific to those programs in the Parent and Family Education Program Manual.
